About Us

We are a forest school that works closely with schools and home schooled groups. 

Our underlying focus is the experience and growth of our young people via a joyous and fulfilling personal adventure into nature.

Kirklees and Calderdale Forest School was founded by Lee Warner who lives with his wife and sons in Huddersfield. Lee studied Fine Art at Harrogate School of Art and the University of Leeds before completing a PGCE at the University of Huddersfield. He is a practising artist and secondary school art and design teacher and forest school leader.
